Safety on Mount Kenya: Mount Kenya is the highest mountain in Kenya and also the 2nd highest on the African continent after the mighty Kilimanjaro. Climbing to the summit of Mt. Take acclimatization days seriously as these will help you avoid altitude sickness while on the mountain.
Always fill in the necessary paper work at the national park gates before climbing Mount Kenya, just as when checking in into a hotel so that someone can know you are on the mountain and for how long, so that incase of any emergency, the park officials can come to your aid.

The weather on the mountain can change rapidly. So be aware of this and prepare accordingly when packing your bags in preparation for your climb on Mt. Kenya.
