Mount Kenya is the 2nd highest mountain in Africa and the highest in Kenya, located at the Equator in Central Kenya situated in Mt. Kenya National Park.
Mt. Kenya has 8 different routes that can take you up and down the scenic mountain with distinctive vegetation zones. While on Mt. Kenya, one can expect to encounter / spot wildlife during ascent or descent, giving an adventure of a life time to the climbers / hikers.
Mount Kenya has 3 main peaks, that is Batian (5,199 m), Nelion (5,188 m) and Lenana (4,985 m). Choosing the right route makes for a successful, enjoyable and adventurous hiking / climbing experience.
